Founded in 2007 in Irvine, California, the company began as a family business whose primary focus was supporting Tier 2/3 Carriers with Legacy reuse product to maintain and grow their networks. The company grew over the early years adding trained sales professionals and technical capabilities. The breakthrough moment for Phoenix came in 2009 when the company developed a strategic partnership with Nortel Networks, becoming the domestic Refurbishment Center for their TDM portfolio. Shortly thereafter, the demise of Nortel led to a strategic partnership with Genband wherein Phoenix absorbed all of Low Volume Contract Manufacturing for the aging Nortel product lines. This resulted in a dramatic expansion of the North Carolina facility and technical prowess of the company.

In 2013, the company acquired the Trade Wings organization located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire expanding the company’s reach into the EMEA marketplace as well as adding several new global customers.  It was also in 2013 that the company expanded its Professional Services business as OEMs were seeking a trained knowledgeable partner to assist them with Network Upgrades and Transformation.

Today, our portfolio includes Professional Field Services and Engineering, Furnishing and Installation (EF &I) Services for both OEMs and Service Providers.  Additionally, Phoenix remains an industry leader in supporting our customers with Legacy product and technical services for the maintenance of today’s wireline and wireless networks.
